Our Family Ancestry recounts the history of the Juranics and Szilagyi families from 1867 Hungary–present day. Through three years of extensive research and visiting our ancestors' hometowns in Hungary and Romania, my mother and I developed a touching family heirloom to pass down for generations.
    The book is rich in uncovered stories, family trees, as well as nearly 400 historical and contemporary images and documents—once sitting in notebooks, and boxes on shelves, this project is a monument for our family, preserving these hidden gems permanently in print.
    The book was meticulously sequenced and designed to give our family a clear recounting of our story. The design merges timelines, from clarity through modernism, to further historical cues inspired by the documents found in the book.
